Lunch Time with Japanese food

Vegan Japanese food recipes.


Today we will have a nice recipe from Japanese cuisine simple and easy

What you need to have:

Soy Sauce/Sesame Oil/Honey/Garlic/Ginger/Tahini paste (Sesame paste)/Hemp seed

Carrot/Cabbage/Cucumber/ Sprouts by choice

Sweet Potato or by choice any Asian noodles/Miso paste /Tapioca Starch /Mirin(Japanese cooking wine)


Tips: Mirin(cooking Japanese wine) can be replaced with a bit of honey (is a sweet taste wine which tend to give a bit of sweetness to your food

Noodles best of choice to choose the one made from either rice or potato starch (the one curly or made from regular flour they tend to be hard to digest)

Tahini paste as dressing can be made more liquid by adding a bit of soy milk or any other vegan milk you have in hand


A.Fried Tofu with soy sauces, Sesame oil & Honey

First of all take a grill frypan in which you will cook way more easy, if you have an wok you can easy take that to.

you need to have: Tapioca Starch/ Sesame oil/ Soy Sauce/Honey/ Ginger/Garlic/Sesame Seed and a bit of water

1Step.Take a simple Tofu and cut it is small squares and then make sure you roll it in Tapioca Starch to cover all the surfaces.

2Step. Cut the Garlic and the Ginger

3.Step Hit the pan and add the oil and the tofu first and make sure you roll in the pan till take a bit of brown color all around

4.Step take the gralic and ginger and add for 30 sec-1 min

5.Step Add a bit of water to simmer of 1 min the tofu and the rest in which you add the Honey and the Soy Sauce plus the Sesame seed

6Step. Make sure you roll everything in such way to don't sticks to the pan, eventually you adjust the fire as is convenient for you but not to slow, because the water will make the Tapioca Starch get out of the tofu.

7Step Make sure the water goes away all most all and then you can easy add to your white rice or eat just life that as a snack.


B. Add next to this a MISOSOUP

Make sure you have the next ingredients: Miso Paste/Shitake Mushroom dried or row/Wakame(algae)/KONBU(Kelp) and a bit of MIRIN(Japanese cooking wine)/Asian Noodles made from sweet Potato

1Step.You boil all up except the MISO PASTE for 5-10 min depend on the mushroom how fast it soften

2Step. You will stop the fire and add the MISO paste by your taste little by little till you get at the taste it satisfy your palatine wave.


C. Nice simple Salad Sweet Spice

Take some cabbage and slice them thin with some cucumber, carrot and some sprouts any by choice

1Step. Put them all in a bowl

2.Step. Making the DRESSING have some Tahini Paste(sesame paste)/Hemp Seed /Soy Sauce/Lemmon/ Vinegar and Sesame Oil

3Step. Mix by choice the quantities and add to your salad


After you do so you can add t your bowl and eat next to your tofu with white rice
